Thank you for choosing Fireplaces Unlimited. We stand behind the quality of our products and workmanship. This document outlines our official warranty policy for all product categories and service types. Please retain this policy for your records.
GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Mileage Exclusion: All warranty coverage excludes mileage, which may be charged at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: If the manufacturer’s warranty extends beyond Fireplaces Unlimited’s standard warranty period, we will use all reasonable resources to facilitate warranty service in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and at their discretion.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, physical damage, acts of nature, or issues resulting from unauthorized alterations or improper maintenance.
Clarification – Acts of Nature
Acts of nature refer to natural events that are beyond human control and are not covered under this warranty. These include, but are not limited to:
- Floods
- Lightning strikes
- Earthquakes
- Hail storms
- High winds or tornadoes
- Wildfires
- Severe freezing or extreme heat
- Power surges caused by weather-related events
Damage resulting from any of these events is considered outside the scope of typical use and maintenance, and is therefore not covered by Fireplaces Unlimited’s warranty. In such cases, homeowners are encouraged to consult their property insurance provider.
NEW APPLIANCE INSTALLATIONS
Coverage: 1 year from the initial installation date.
Includes: Parts and labor.
Excludes: Mileage, at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: Longer manufacturer warranties will be honored to the best of our ability, subject to manufacturer terms.
SERVICE CALLS
Parts Warranty: 1 year for any parts replaced or purchased.
Labor Warranty: 30 days from date of service.
Excludes: Mileage, at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: If applicable, we will work with the manufacturer to extend coverage under their policies.
GAS LOG INSTALLATIONS
Coverage: 1-year unlimited warranty on the following components:
- Logs
- Burner
- Grate
- Remote system
Excludes: Mileage, at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: Extended coverage beyond one year will follow the manufacturer’s terms where applicable.
GLASS DOORS
Coverage: 1 year from date of installation.
Excludes: Mileage, at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: Longer warranties offered by the manufacturer will be supported under their terms.
WOOD BURNING PRODUCTS
Coverage: 1 year from date of installation under conditions of typical use.
Excludes: Mileage, at Fireplaces Unlimited’s discretion.
Manufacturer’s Warranty: If a longer warranty is provided by the manufacturer, we will assist in honoring it to the fullest extent possible.
